SAP and Lenovo Execute "Global-go-to-Market" Initiative to Elevate Digital Economy

FREMONT, CA: SAP solutions joins venture with Lenovo’s data center, aiming to provide customers with a technology to strengthen organization agile digital enterprise. Expanding the existing partnership, SAP and Lenovo are in a continuous evolution to enhance productivity and efficiency, reduce complexity, and create value in the new digital economy. The companies also disclosed their plan to execute “global go-to-market” programs.

The partnership will jointly execute and develop innovative cloud solution in China, addressing the needs of digital economy by exploring and defining new technologies that will assist SAP in implementing Lenovo systems. The infrastructure server platform will also exhibit joint differentiated solutions in Lenovo Enterprise Innovation Centers

“Expanding our partnership with SAP provides a greater foundation to collaborate on new and innovative solutions to solve major challenges facing businesses today related to turning insights into action,” said Gerry Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Enterprise Business Group, Lenovo.

Lenovo has estimated, a 45x abrupt growth in reporting performance and a 50x improvement in data loading after the deployment of SAP solutions into its platform. SAP is recognized as a preferred ERP provider to Lenovo, which has executed several enterprise solutions including SAP Business Suite software, the SAP Business Planning and Consolidation application and SAP HANA.
